Bumpmag.com Presents "The Hype"

There are a ton of urban music sites on the web that can provide new artists a platform to present thier music to the world and to their fans repectively, but we've noticed that many of them only focus on artists that are already known in the mainstream world. Well, the good people here at BUMP! want to change that and do something different and hopefully constructive for You! So, after having thought about this idea for days, we've come up with a solution we'd like to call "The Hype."

"The Hype" is a section on BUMP! designed specifically to help promote new and emerging artists (signed & unsigned) whom have already developed a professional quality sound and are serious about getting to the next level of getting thier music heard in the new digital age of the music industry via the internet. Not only are we going to provide a launchpad for you to share your music and gain fans, but will be providing an interactiveness between you and your newly gained fans by also implementing a voting system where the listener decides if they either "Believe the Hype" or "Don't Believe the Hype." This is why you MUST be on your A-game to be a part of this and so you know, as an artist, your fans likes and dislikes. Knowing your fanbase is key to having a successful career in the music industry no matter what your genre of music is.

Below we've provided a small list of instructions on how you can become a part of "The Hype" (subject to change at anytime if we deem necessary):

1. All submissions MUST be professionally recorded or at least studio quality.

2. We accept MP3 files only (Z-Share links are welcome as well).

3. We will only post a maximum of 3 songs per artist so make sure you send your best work!

4. All submissions MUST have a good quality picture of themselves, MUST have a myspace page/website link, & Bio or brief description of what they are presenting.

5. We are currently only accepting Hip-Hop & R&B music submissions (Solo or Group)at this time.

6. Serious submissions only! We don't have time to waste and don't want to waste our listeners time either.

7. Send all submissions to bumpmaghype@gmail.com with the artists name and "The Hype" in the title.

Not everyone will be selected for "The Hype." If this happens to you please note that we are in no way being biased towards you or your music. DO NOT give up, keep working on your craft, and keep your dream alive!
